We Have A Plan ...
Jeanie and I met with Uncle Bud about the itinerary. Wow... we are going to be traveling 4,500 miles. Our group has grown too. The crazy sister, Janice, is back on board with us, and we also picked up a "new" sister, Wendy. Everyone is thrilled to have Wendy coming along with us. Our adventure is set to begin on Saturday, July 18th. We plan to spend the night in Nashville, TN. Then, it is on to St. Louis - then, Topeka, Kansas (Dean Smith is from Kansas, you know) - then, through Colorado and up to Cheyenne, Wyoming for Frontier Days. While at Frontier Days, we will see the world's largest outdoor rodeo and take in a Kenny Chesney concert. Hopefully, we can arrive in time to catch the Taylor Swift and Kelli Pickler concert the night before. After Cheyenne, we will head to Cody, Wyoming and into Yellowstone National Park before heading into Montana. (Jeanie says, "Daddy always wanted to go to Montana..." ) I am not sure that even Daddy would have signed on for this trip ... he always had a lot of common sense !

Pre - Trip Planning
Tommorrow is the big day. We get together and hash out the details of the big trip. 1st stop is most likely going to be Nashville, TN. Growing up - I never remember my parents listening to anything other than country music, we must put a star on the map of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Today is Father's Day ... but I know when my sisters and I walk through the doors of the Hall of Fame, we will only be thinking of our "Mama and Daddy".
For all of the good memories growing up ... country music was always there.
